Hi! I’m Brainstorm and I have epilepsy! I am a bear that travels around the world to see all my new friends with epilepsy/seizure disorders. I will only be staying 8-10 days at each place because I have so many new friends. I need to stay on my travel plans, therefore it will be hard if I stay for too long in one place. Sometimes I need to be in a place by a certain time, so please help me get there in time! 
 
 I have my medical alert bracelet, AED medication bottle(s), a journal, and a photo album with me at every new stop I make. If you would like to send a momento or something else along with me, make sure that you ask Mom and Dad, and make sure that there is still enough room for me! Remember that I have a journal and photo album, too. Please add pictures of my stay with you, and write in my journal all the wonderful and neat things that we did while I was there.

Mom and Dad will be provided with information before I arrive at your house. Usually, I travel by UPS to all of my destinations in the United States so that I can be located during my journey. This helps me from getting lost. If for some reason a family can't get to the UPS station, please make sure I am shipped by air and they can track me! For my overseas or out of country travel, I will go the fastest way possible with tracking if available.  (a note to Mom's and Dad's... you will receive more travel info including a shipping guide after you have registered for a visit; and please be aware that in most cases, Brainstorm will ship from his homebase to go out of the States)

Special note to parents: In order to keep this as enjoyable for everyone involved, a host family only need make the committment to provide Brainstorm's shipping costs to the next family on the list. As well, we need to keep track of Brainstorm in the effort to keep this pleasant for all. Please let us know either via email or the phone number provided with your Travel Packet when Brainstorm arrives. You will also need to notify us when you send him to his next destination along with the tracking numbers (you will be provided with a "ship by" date as well as a label to go to the next family). Please try to keep Brainstorm as close to his schedule as possible. 

We would like to update Brainstorm's page after each visit. Please send copies of the journal entries (in an email is fine) and pictures (if possible) to brainstormbear_journal@hotmail.com so we can keep his page current.
